Kärcher Japan will release the SC 1 Multi series handheld steamers for home use on March 10. This will be the general sale of the model that was sold out on the day of the start of pre-sales through the support purchase service “Makuake.
It is designed to lift and remove dirt using steam at a high temperature of approximately 100°C. It can be used in kitchens, bathrooms, windows, fabrics, and various other places in the house, and is said to be able to sterilize and deodorize without the use of detergents. The use can be expanded by using different attachments.
Steam can be sprayed in about 30 seconds after the switch is turned on, reducing the waiting time for preheating. It also supports water supply during use, allowing work to continue without interruption. Weighing approximately 1.6 kg, it is designed for easy handling.
The standard model “SC 1 Multi” is priced at 19,800 yen, and the high-end model “SC 1 Multi & Up” with floor nozzle and other features is priced at 24,800 yen. The SC 1 Multi & Up, a higher-end model with a floor nozzle and other features, will be priced at 24,800 yen.
