Iconia Hospitality will rebrand its Evergreen Fuji hotel at the northern foot of Mt. Fuji as Kamenoi Hotel Fuji (4658-1 Kamiyoshida, Fujiyoshida, Yamanashi Prefecture), opening on May 30.
In addition to the new hot spring baths, the hotel will renovate the guest rooms, restaurant, lobby, and other major facilities, transforming the hotel into a stay-and-go resort where guests can experience the natural beauty of Fuji and the charms of the region.
Fuji view type rooms and 88 rooms in total. Fuji area attracts many domestic and international tourists, and demand from families and inbound travelers is growing.
The core of the hotel, a large hot spring bath, is designed to allow guests to relax while enjoying the natural beauty of Fuji. The “book lounge,” where guests can relax after bathing or before meals, is stocked with approximately 3,700 comic books.
The menu has been changed from the traditional course format to a buffet style that makes the most of local ingredients. Under the theme of “Taste the Delicacies of Yamanashi and the Bounty of Fuji,” the menu will feature approximately 80 Japanese and Western dishes. Guests can also enjoy seafood hoto nabe and Koshu wine beef steaks freshly grilled in the live kitchen.
In addition, the lobby and lounge are open and comfortable to enhance the sense of anticipation from the moment of arrival, and a new automatic check-in machine has been introduced to facilitate smooth procedures.
From April 24, the hotel will reopen as “Evergreen Fuji” after renovations. The rebranding of the hotel as Kamenoi Hotel Fuji will be on May 30, but reservations are already being accepted.
