JR Bus Tohoku will begin operating some of its Sendai-Metropolitan area route services on April 1 using “Grandream” vehicles.
The Grand Reem is equipped with “cradle seats,” in which the footrest lifts up in tandem with the backrest. The cradle seats are designed to provide cradle-like seating comfort, allowing passengers to relax even on long journeys. The seat width is 46.5 cm and the reclining angle is 135 degrees.
Each of the three horizontal rows of seats is fully independent, and each seat is also equipped with a private curtain and USB port.
Fares vary depending on the date of boarding and purchase. Reservations can be made through “Hatsusha Ourai Net”, “Express Bus Net”, “Rakuten Travel”, and “Express Bus.com”.
