JINS Ginza commemorates its opening with limited edition models. 18 types of 6 models in celluloid, acetate, and titanium, with sand patterns engraved on the hinges, etc.

JINS will release a limited edition collection “GINZA Limited Edition” to celebrate the opening of its global flagship store “JINS Ginza Store” (4-5-1 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo) on March 28. There are 18 types of 6 models in total.

The history of the Ginza district and the store’s concept of “Enishi” were the inspiration for the collection, and the temple ends and hinges are decorated with Karesansui sand patterns, and the entire collection is designed to be comfortable to wear, with a unique feel to the nose and ear.

The frames are made of celluloid (Wellington, round), acetate (square, Boston), and titanium (Wellington, round), each of which comes in two shapes. All six models are also available in a sunglasses version. The celluloid version is priced at 80,000 yen, while the acetate and titanium versions are priced at 90,000 yen (all prices include standard clear lenses).

A lamb leather case and large, thick serito (eyeglass wipe) are included, and an original shopper, GINZA BOOK Creativity & Innovation, is available as a bonus.

In addition, JINS Ginza is preparing several other initiatives as part of its opening campaign: after the opening date of March 28, customers who purchase 30,000 yen or more will receive a “special glasses stand” as a first-come, first-served offer, which was created by Nosaku, a cast metal manufacturer founded in Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture in 1916. Taking advantage of the characteristics of soft tin, it functions as a glasses stand while freely changing its shape.

The “GINZA Open Set,” available in limited quantities, includes a 10,000 yen glasses coupon, an original furoshiki (wrapping cloth), and a sticker, priced at 8,800 yen.
