On March 12, Jalan announced the “Ranking of Service and Parking Areas with Spectacular Views.

A nationwide survey was conducted among people in their 20s to 50s about SA/PAs with spectacular views that have evolved from rest stops on the way to destinations for travelers. The top spot went to Umihotaru PA (up/down lines), an offshore PA on Tokyo Bay that offers 360-degree ocean views, beautiful sunsets, and an extraordinary space where visitors can enjoy everything from gourmet food to footbaths.

In second place is the Mekari Parking Area (up line), which offers a panoramic view of the Kanmon Straits. Other areas ranked from 3rd to 10th are as follows. Not only for expressway users, there are also places that can be accessed from ordinary roads, allowing visitors to casually enjoy nature, gourmet foods, and souvenirs unique to the area on their way to the airport.
