Scoot, which began service from Haneda to Singapore on flight TR883 in June 2012, is a popular airline offering reasonable fares with high safety standards and reliability as an LCC of the Singapore Airlines Group. With a fleet of more than 50 aircraft, including wide-body Boeing 787-8/9s, narrow-body Airbus A320s, and Embraer E190-E2s, the airline connects more than 80 destinations in 18 countries and regions in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe. It has long had flights to Singapore from Narita, Kansai International Airport, and Naha (in service in December 2025), and has finally added flights from Haneda. The daily turnaround flight is TR882/883, and TR883 from Haneda is a late night flight departing at 2:15 am. It arrives at Singapore’s Changi International Airport at 8:30 AM, a very reliable schedule for those who want to enjoy sightseeing from the day of arrival. The first flight from Singapore will be on March 1. We would like to consider some measures to be taken after arrival at Haneda, such as hotel accommodations or cab transfers. Or, as was the case on this trip, please consider using the Singapore to Narita route (flight TR808). This would get us to Narita Airport at 7:10 AM.
Scoot’s departure from Haneda is at Terminal 3. The check-in counter for flight TR883 was located at Counter D in Terminal 3. Scoot’s fare structure is divided into four categories: “Basic,” “Value,” and “Flex” economy class, and “Scoot Plus,” which is equivalent to business class, all of which do not require fuel surcharges. One feature is that even in economy class, carry-on baggage is limited to 10 kg, which is unbeatable among LCCs, and it is nice to know that this reduces the pre-trip hassles of “somehow limiting baggage to 7 kg,” which is common among LCCs.
