3carat launched the Sanrio-designed “Bag Key Clip” on its official mail order site in advance; from mid-April, it will be available at general merchandise and character stores nationwide.
A clip-on key chain that makes it difficult to lose your keys in your bag. The first batch includes Hello Kitty, Kuromi, Pom Pom Pudding, and Pochakko, followed by My Melody, Hangyodong, and Little Twin Stars in the second batch to be released in early May. Each is priced at 3,740 yen.
The hook-type metal fittings make it easy to attach a key without damaging the nails, and the design makes it difficult to remove the key. With the theme of “Sanrio for Adults,” the design is elegant and easy for adult women to incorporate into their daily lives.
It also features a plush, three-dimensional appearance. The prototype was handmade by jewelry craftsmen in Japan and faithfully reproduces the loveliness of Sanrio characters.
