Hankyu Corporation offers free IC card entry/exit at the same station within 20 minutes. Automatic cancellation of admission records.

Posted on April 5, 2026 by Editor in Chief

Hankyu Corporation will start a service on March 18 that allows passengers to pass through ticket gates at the same station without paying the fare if they enter or exit the station within 20 minutes using a transportation system IC card.

If you touch your IC card, such as ICOCA or PiTaPa, to the ticket gate and touch it again within 20 minutes, your entry record will be automatically cancelled and you will be able to enter the station. The system is expected to be useful for short stays at stations, such as for pickups and drop-offs, or when passing through a station or realizing that you have forgotten something.

If you stay in the station for more than 20 minutes or if you do not have an IC card, you will still need to purchase an admission ticket (170 yen). Tenjinbashisuji Rokuchome Station, which is managed by Osaka Metro, is not included in the service.
