Bee’s will release “Someday Sonae Set,” a disaster prevention bag set from the outdoor brand DOD. Pre-orders will be accepted until March 13, and will be shipped sequentially after March 16.
A set of disaster prevention goods and bags supervised by a disaster prevention specialist. Two sizes are available: an S size designed to withstand high temperatures for temporary evacuation by car, and an M size with enough supplies for two people to live for two days. The contents of the bags are packaged and shipped separately to raise awareness of disaster preparedness.
Disaster prevention goods include preserved water and food (with a shelf life of at least 4 years in principle), aluminum blanket, portable toilet, wet wipes, and original gloves. In addition, the S size comes with an emergency whistle and the M size comes with a water supply bag. However, both sizes are positioned as the minimum basic set, and the company asks that personal belongings be prepared separately.
Named “Sonaere Bag,” the backpack-type disaster prevention bag features a bright orange color and reflective prints. Its generous size allows for the storage of goods other than those included in the bag. Its design with reduced protrusions allows it to be stowed away in a suitcase for transportation.
The price is 7,700 yen for the S size and 19,800 yen for the M size (including shipping). On its website, the company proposes disaster prevention through outdoor activities as “Play Pair” (a coined word from “Play” and “Prepare”).
