Disney Resort Line has released a special video “25th Memorial Movie/Disney Resort Line” on its official YouTube page to coincide with the 25th anniversary of its opening on July 27.
The monorail began operation on July 27, 2001, prior to the grand opening of Tokyo DisneySea. The special video summarizes the progress of the monorail since its opening in about 50 seconds.
The contents of this report include the launch of the project in 1998, concept images, the opening day ceremony, the lifting of the car body by crane, and the interior of the car. The film also includes a walk-through of the interior of the car, along with the yellow body and five colors of the car body.
The company has also announced new measures. On July 27, the 25th anniversary of the Disney Resort Line, special free tickets will go on sale, and original stickers will be distributed to Disney Resort Line users as a token of appreciation.
In conjunction with the Tokyo DisneySea Anniversary event, the Tokyo DisneySea 25th Anniversary “Sparkling Jubilee” Liner will also be in operation from April 15. The entire resort will be in a festive mood.
