The Air Self-Defense Force Komaki Air Base (1-1 Kasugadera, Komaki City, Aichi Prefecture) will hold the “2026 Komaki Air Base Air Festival” from 8:30 to 15:00 on March 1.

On the day of the event, aircraft from Komaki Air Base will fly a display over the airfield. The Blue Impulse display flight is scheduled from 12:30 to 14:00.

Other programs include ground displays (JASDF, Ground Self-Defense Force, and U.S. military aircraft) on the tarmac and in the hangars, displays of military equipment, security dog training, and a fashion show. Food and beverages (excluding alcohol) will be available at concession stands and product displays.

The nearest stations are Ushiyama Station or Kasugai Station on the Meitetsu Komaki Line for the Main Gate and Hazama Station for the Oyama River Gate. There is no parking lot for the public, and visitors are not allowed to drive cars or motorcycles (including motorized bicycles). The number of bicycle parking spaces is limited.

Between Heian-dori Station on the Nagoya City Transportation Bureau’s Kamiida Line and Komaki Station on Nagoya Railroad’s Komaki Line, 18 more regular trains (9 each up and down) will run between 6:00 and 16:00, with trains running approximately every 10 minutes from 7:00 to 9:00 and from 13:00 to 15:00.

A general preview will be held on February 28, the day before the event.
