Hotel New Akao (1993-65, Atami, Shizuoka Prefecture) in Atami is now offering an overnight buffet plan with hot spring and seasonal delicacies. Prices start at 18,800 yen per person per room for double occupancy.
This plan includes a sumptuous buffet and all-you-can-drink buffet at the large Showa-era retro restaurant “Main Dining Nishiki”. In the evening, the menu features about 90 dishes, including sushi and sashimi made from seasonal and local seafood, steaks grilled right in front of you in the live kitchen, Shizuoka oden and Fujinomiya yakisoba, and more. In the morning, the menu includes fried horse mackerel, three kinds of rice bowls that can be served with dashi chazuke, bacon and eggs made with Shizuoka Prefecture eggs, and fresh salads using vegetables from Mishima Nishinoroku.
The hotel stands on the quay of the scenic “Nishikigaura” and all 350 guest rooms have ocean views. The “Sparium Nishiki” hot spring bathhouse offers a refreshing infinity open-air bath with a spectacular view that makes you feel as if you are one with the ocean.
