Ace has released a new color, Midnight Green, from PROTECA’s PRESTY line of domestically produced suitcases.
Prices are 132,000 yen for the 34L carry-on, 154,000 yen for the 77L, and 165,000 yen for the 100L. They will be available at directly managed stores, online stores, and major department stores nationwide.
The Presti series combines luxury design with high functionality. It features chrome-plated metal parts, real leather handles, and twin-wheel silent casters. The new midnight green color, reminiscent of a deep forest, is said to be characterized by its understated yet dignified shade that radiates presence.
The originally developed twin-wheel casters are of the silent caster specification, which reduces the perceived noise level by approximately 30% compared to conventional products, and feature high-durability chrome steel bearings for smooth rotation. They are also equipped with a caster stopper function, “Magic Stop,” which allows the wheels to be easily fixed with a switch at hand.
In consideration of privacy when opening and closing the suitcase, the lid side has a zipper-opening clothing compartment where contents cannot be seen, and the bottom side has two dividers and a cross-belt to prevent cargo collapse. It also features a vertical pocket convenient for storing small items.
