Universal Studios Japan will hold events to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the opening of the popular “Super Nintendo World” area starting today, March 18.
The theme is “We are all STARS!” The theme is “We are all STARS! In reference to the “Super Star,” a well-known item in Mario games that makes you “invincible,” a giant anniversary cake topped with stars will be decorated at the entrance to the dirt pipe area.
Also during the period, the 5th anniversary-only mini-parade “Great Adventure in the Mushroom Kingdom! Exciting Star Hunt March” will be held daily. The Super Star that was supposed to be used to finish the cake has been scattered throughout the Mushroom Kingdom, and Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and the others are now on the hunt for the star! The story is that Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and the others are off to find the star!
The performance lasts approximately 20 minutes. Five characters march counterclockwise around the central square to the music. The performance time and the number of times per day have not been announced, so you will be lucky if you run into the adventurous Mario and his friends. Be sure to show off the “stars” you are wearing and help Mario and his friends find the stars.
