Universal Studios Japan will hold events to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the opening of the popular “Super Nintendo World” area starting today, March 18.
The theme is “We are all STARS!” The theme is “We are all STARS! In reference to the “Super Star,” a well-known item in Mario games that makes you “invincible,” a giant anniversary cake topped with a star will be decorated next to the clay pipe at the entrance to the area.
Actually, this cake is not yet finished. Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Kinopio, and Yoshi decided to bake a cake to celebrate their 5th anniversary, but the special stars they were supposed to use to finish the cake got scattered all over the area.
To celebrate the anniversary, a campaign will be held from March 18 to find stars scattered throughout the area and deliver them to the crew to receive a “limited edition anniversary sticker”. For example, you can bring any kind of “stars” such as popcorn buckets shaped like stars, food, goods in your possession, or photos taken in the area.
If you can’t find the star, we recommend that you and your friends express “☆” by posing with your hands and body, and search for the star in unison. Stickers will be sold out as soon as they are gone, so don’t delay!
