Tokai Kisen Line has extended the sale of the “Hachijojima Reconstruction Support Ticket” until the end of May! Hachijojima Reconstruction Support Ticket” until the end of May.
This special ticket was introduced as a campaign for the reconstruction of Tokyo and Hachijo-jima, which was damaged by a typhoon last fall. Initially, the tickets were available until March 31, but now they are available from April 1 to May 31 (except for departures from April 24 to May 5).
The price is 12,000 yen (6,000 yen for children) for a round trip from Takeshiba, Tokyo to Hachijojima, valid for 4 days including the day of departure (valid for 7 days until the return trip on March 31). The round-trip flights are limited to 2nd class Japanese-style rooms on large passenger ships, and the grade cannot be changed or upgraded.
Reservations are accepted by phone from the same day two months prior to the boarding date until the day before.
The outbound flight departs Tokyo at 22:30 and arrives at Hachijojima at 8:55 the following day. The return flight departs Hachijojima at 9:40 a.m. and arrives in Tokyo at 7:50 p.m.
