The site of the former AEON Tsu store in Mie is to become Soyora Tsu Sakurabashi, opening in the fall of 2026, about a 10-minute walk from the station.

On March 17, Jishu Corporation acquired land (approx. 29,871m2) in Sakurabashi 3-chome, Tsu City, Mie Prefecture, owned by Dai-Ichi Kotsu Sangyo and tenanted by AEON Retail. The site is the former AEON Tsu Shopping Center (the core store is AEON Tsu), and SOYOLA Tsu Sakurabashi is scheduled to open this fall.

Located approximately 10 minutes on foot from Tsu Station and close to National Route 23 and the Chuo Bypass, it is easily accessible from the Mie Prefectural Government, Tsu City Hall, and Mie University. The facility will consist of two buildings, each two stories high, with a pedestrian walkway for residents between them and the adjacent condominium.

This is the second “Soyora” brand store in Mie Prefecture, and the core store will be AEON Style Tsu Sakurabashi. The two companies have also concluded fixed-term land lease agreements for the AEON MALL Tomiya store (Miyagi Prefecture) and the AEON MALL Hineno store (Osaka Prefecture).
