Mitsui Fudosan will conduct a large-scale renovation of Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Yokohama (4035-1 Ikebe-cho, Tsuzuki-ku, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) over a three-year period from spring 2026 to summer 2028.

Located a 7-minute walk from Kamoi Station on the JR Yokohama Line and approximately 2 km by car from the Kohoku Interchange on the Daisan Keihin Line, the center will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its opening in March 2007 by strengthening its lineup of approximately 270 tenants and improving the environment of its food court and indoor/outdoor event court.

In spring 2026, the first phase of the project, a total of 26 stores, mainly retail tenants, including three new stores opening for the first time in Kanagawa Prefecture and eight stores opening for the first time in LaLaport, will open in new, renovated, or relocated locations, and a “Children’s Playground” will be created in the North Curve Mall, a common area on the second floor that can be used as children grow.

In addition, they will be improving women-friendly restrooms, expanding rest areas with sun protection, and planning signage that is easy for everyone to understand.

Renovation after 2027 will include expansion of food and beverage outlets and large-scale renovation of the specially selected dining “FOURSYUN”. The company will also work to strengthen the tenant lineup with a focus on making large stores flagship stores, and improve the environment of the central garden “KiLaLa” and the building’s event space.
