Air France’s newest First Class “La Première”; I experienced a luxury seat with 5 windows all to myself.

Posted on March 22, 2026 by Editor in Chief

Air France will open its “La Première,” Air France’s “top suite,” to the public for the first time in Japan from March 19 to 20. The venue is Yodobashi J6 Building (6-35-6 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), and reservations can be made through the company’s official LINE account (free of charge).

La Première is a first class seat with only four seats on a Boeing 777-300ER, and features a spacious luxury space with five windows that can be monopolized by one person. The aircraft equipped with this feature has been in daily service on the Haneda-Charles de Gaulle (Paris) route since March.

On one side of the room is an armchair with a retractable table that can be deployed for eating, reading, or working on a computer, and on the other side is a chaise longue that can be used for lying down, relaxing, or watching videos on the monitor across the room.

Two 32-inch 4K monitors are installed in the living room to allow video viewing from either the chair or the couch. The chaise longue’s sleeve desk also serves as a drawer that can hold two carry-on sized bags, which is why there is no overhead baggage storage shelf.

The chair and chaise lounge are motorized to recline via a built-in tablet, and the tablet can also be used to control personal monitors, adjust lighting, raise and lower the blinds on the five windows, etc. A universal 220V power outlet, USB Type-A/C charging ports, and a place-and-go charging pad for smartphones are also included. A charging pad for smartphones can be placed on the tablets.

The venue is displayed as five windows in the La Première cabin, and visitors can see past crew uniforms, actual Concorde seats celebrating their 50th anniversary, past and present amenity kits, and tableware for first class meals.
