Additional production of recycled aluminum straws for the Type 923 Doctor Yellow is decided. New packaging to be released.

JR Tokai Retailing Plus will release “Tokaido Shinkansen Recycled Aluminum Straw (Type 923 Doctor Yellow) II” on March 23 at 10:00.

It is made by recycling decommissioned Shinkansen cars. Among the three types of straws released to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the Tokaido Shinkansen, the Doctor Yellow model was particularly popular, so the company decided to release a renewed version with additional production.

The material used is recycled aluminum from the N700 series type A “X2 organization,” with a Shinkansen motif on the cross section of the straw and a window pattern on the anodized surface reminiscent of the car body. The price is 1,580 yen.

The company’s e-commerce site “PLUSTA ONLINE STORE” and “PLUSTA ONLINE STORE” in JR Tokai MARKET handle the product.
