Osaka Metro (Osaka City Rapid Transit) will release “Long Seat Type Smartphone Stand” and “Moquette Pencil Pouch” from its manufacturing co-creation project “Osaka Metro Create” at the official online store of Osaka Metro on March 20.
This is part of the “Scrapped Train Revitalization Project,” which utilizes scrap materials from retired subway cars. All of the trains are made of the same moquette used in the seats of Midosuji Line and other trains, and are said to offer the familiar high quality feel of commuting to and from work and school.
The long seat-shaped smartphone stand is a smartphone stand that faithfully reproduces the seat of a subway car. Two designs are available, one with a pattern and the other without a pattern, for the “Osaka Municipal Transportation Bureau Moquette” and the “Osaka Metro, Blue,” which uses the moquette of a priority seat seat. They measure approximately 180 x 90 x 120 mm (W x D x H) and are priced at 7,480 yen each.
MOKET PEN POUCH is a PEN pouch with a wide-opening mouth that can hold gadgets and other items. The new lineup includes “Osaka City Transportation Bureau Design” (with or without pattern) and “Osaka Metro, Blue Design. They measure approximately 190 x 45 x 80 mm and are priced at 3,300 yen each.
