Mitsui Shopping Park Urban Dock Lalaport Toyosu (4-9, Toyosu 2-chome, Koto-ku, Tokyo) will undergo a large-scale renovation starting in March on the occasion of its 20th anniversary.
A total of 31 new and renovated restaurants, including some opening for the first time in Tokyo, will open sequentially. Noteworthy restaurants and food stores include the first opening in Tokyo of the popular Sawada Restaurant, run by Shuhei Sawada of the Michelin-starred “Es Sawada” for six consecutive years, and the first opening of “Godipan” in a shopping center, based on the concept of “a bakery in town meets Godiva.
Sapporo Fish Market 57 Iki Iki Sushi, a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant by Sapporo Fish Market 57, a popular sushi restaurant at New Chitose Airport in Hokkaido, will also make its first appearance in Tokyo.
The lineup also includes tenants for daily use, such as the first “SANWA” supermarket in Koto-ku and the expansion of “UNIQLO” stores.
The common areas are also scheduled to undergo a major renovation. Digital signage will be installed on the event stage, center port, and food court, and a new “Kids Park” of approximately 700 m2 will be created in the courtyard.
The baby rest room near the food court will have its space expanded and changed to specifications for use by couples. In addition, the rest space in the building will be increased from 100 to 400 seats.
