Shin Nihonkai Ferry will offer “Summer Trip GOGO Wari,” a discount plan that provides a 15% discount on private room and passenger car fares for passengers aged 55 and over. The plan is valid from June 1 to 30.
For all routes, the fare for suites, junior suites, deluxe rooms A/B, and state rooms S/A/B, as well as passenger car fares, will be discounted by 15% from the regular fare.
Passengers must be 55 years of age or older to use the service, and may be asked to show proof of age such as a driver’s license or health insurance card when boarding the ship. Reservations must be made at least one month prior to boarding, and payment must be made within three days of the reservation date.
As an example of the discount, the normal fare for two adults and a passenger car under 5 meters in a State A private cabin on the Niigata-Otaru route is ¥55,000, but after the discount is applied, the fare is reduced by ¥8,240 to ¥46,760.
Reservations can be made online or by phone from three months prior to embarkation. If you issue an e-boarding ticket in advance through “My Page” on the Internet, you will not need to go to the ticket counter to board the ship, making boarding a smooth process.
