Satsumasendai City in Kagoshima Prefecture will launch the “Satsumasendai City Manzoku Lodging GO! GO! Campaign” on April 1 to stimulate tourism demand.
Each person staying at a hotel or hot spring inn in the city will receive a 3,000 yen discount per night (for stays of 5,000 yen or more per night including tax; for consecutive nights, only one night is applicable). The offer is valid for stays between April 1 and August 31, and reservations and sales will begin on March 10. Reservations can be made through the official websites of participating lodging facilities, OTAs, and by phone.
Eligible accommodations are listed on the special website. The campaign will end when the budget limit (10,000 guest nights) is reached, even during the campaign period.
Satsumasendai City is located in the northwestern part of Kagoshima Prefecture. The city is said to offer rich nature, history, and food, with hot springs and tourist spots scattered throughout the area, including the magnificent cliffs of the Koshikishima Archipelago, a national park in the East China Sea.
