Tokyo Disneyland will hold its sixth Disney Palpalooza, “Vanellope’s Sweet Pop World,” from April 9. Ahead of the event, the first set of limited-edition merchandise was released on March 9. In this issue, we will introduce some of the wearable goods and photographic contents that will enhance the mood of the event.
The new items feature pop colors typical of the “Sugar Rush” movie all over. The color palette is centered on mint blue, matching Vanellope’s hoodie, and vivid pink, reminiscent of the colorful chocolates in the hair accessory.
The “catsuit” (2,400 yen) is the best way to enjoy your stay in the park. The donut ears and sequin-filled ribbon will surely make you stand out.
And you can’t miss the matching “hoodie” (6,000 yen) with Vanellope. It is actually a slightly subdued, dull mint color that is easy to incorporate into a coordinating outfit. The front pockets and hood ties are also designed to resemble Vanellope’s costume, so you can immerse yourself in the world of the movie just by wearing it. To complete the look, a “stick-on plushie” (2,200 yen) can be placed on the shoulder!
In the park, two types of event-designed flags are available for rent for commemorative photos. If you see a Cast Member holding one, don’t hesitate to ask him or her!
