Universal Studios Japan announced that “Sesame Street Fun World” will end on May 10.
Since its opening on March 16, 2012, the Elmo and Cookie Monster attractions have been popular with parents and children. However, the company has decided to terminate the operation “in order to further evolve the park experience and future initiatives with Sesame Street.
In conjunction with this event, a special event “Forever Friends – Friends for Always” will be held from March 20 to May 10 to thank guests. Limited-edition cards will be distributed in Universal Wonderland, which can be held up for a photo at specific locations in the park to take a picture of Elmo and the scenery as one.
They can enjoy different designs in the first phase (March 20 – until they are gone) and the second phase (April 15 – May 10).
In addition, “NO LIMIT! Parade – Discover U! version”, “Ultimate Blues Bash: The Color of Music”, the currently suspended “Sesame Street 4-D Movie Magic”, meet and greets, and other Sesame Street-related attractions outside the area will continue.
