Sanrio Goes Retro! SKINNYDIP, pixel-art style phone cases, etc. to be pre-launched at PLAZA

Posted on March 11, 2026 by Editor in Chief

S2 Lab will release new mobile accessories, the fourth collaboration between London-based lifestyle brand SKINNYDIP LONDON and Sanrio characters, in advance at PLAZA stores nationwide and online stores in late April.

Based on the theme of “pixel art” inspired by the world of video games, the design team at the company’s headquarters in London has planned and produced this collection exclusively for the Japanese market. The lineup includes Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Little Twin Stars (Kiki & Lala), and includes phone cases, pouches, and other miscellaneous items.

By scattering icons and motifs that look as if they were drawn with dots and layering SKINNYDIP’s signature glitter and hologram textures, they have created a pop and retro playful item that looks as if Sanrio characters have stepped out of a game screen.

After the pre-sale at PLAZA, the products will be on sale to the general public from mid-May at SKINNYDIP’s official online store and official POPUP STORE in Japan. Details will be announced at a later date.
