Jumbo Ferry has announced that on April 1, connections from ferries departing from Kobe to buses within Shodoshima will be improved. This is due to the Shodoshima Olive Bus timetable revision to be implemented on the same day.
Until now, the ferry departing from Kobe at 8:15 am and arriving at Sakate Port at 11:35 am was connected to a bus departing at 12:17 pm, but the revised timetable will add a new service departing at 11:51 am. With the new service, the waiting time at Sakate Port will be reduced from about 40 minutes to about 15 minutes, making travel to and from various parts of Shodoshima smoother.
The new service will be one bus service on the Tanoura Eiga-mura route connecting Tanoura Eiga-mura to Sakate Port, Olive Park, and Dojo Port. The free shuttle bus service between Sakate Port and Kusakabe Port will be suspended as of March 31.
