Vocalist Kotone’s Music Trip] A trip to Hakone, where flowers are blooming and spring is in full bloom, a trip to relax in nature and hot springs.

Comfortable stay at a hot spring hotel with excellent facilities for a banquet We stayed at a hot spring hotel called “Tenseien” this time. We arrived a little early before the evening banquet. This hotel is equipped with several banquet halls and various options are available. We left Tokyo in the afternoon and arrived at Tenseien in the evening. When I visited Hakone before, I stayed in Sengokuhara, so it had been 10 years since I stayed in Hakone-Yumoto? After arriving at the hotel, the first thing to do was to take a bath in the hot spring! So I headed straight from the guest room to the large bath. I picked up a cute yukata from the check-in counter and went to my guest room first. Instead of slippers for inside the building, socks like tabi socks were provided, which were comfortable. There is even a shoulder to carry your cell phone and other items. A water server on the floor where the guest rooms are located is also a very nice service. The large public bath boasts a large open-air bath with nothing blocking the view overhead, giving it a pleasant sense of openness! It was a little dark in the evening, so I thought I would not be able to see any more scenery, but the waterfall was lit up and I was able to enjoy the open-air bath in a very fantastic atmosphere. And the strange thing about Hakone-Yumoto’s hot water is that the indoor baths are hot and the outdoor baths are a little lukewarm, but even though the source water is a little lukewarm, it warms you up from the inside out. I felt the amazing energy of the hot spring. I could enjoy a different kind of hot spring from those in mountain areas such as Sengokuhara. After enjoying the hot spring, it was time for the banquet we were looking forward to. This time, we were treated to a gorgeous boat ride and a delicious kaiseki meal. It was a great time for me to greet the people who have been taking care of my husband, and as his wife, I was able to express my gratitude to them and enjoy some drinks with them.

The second day started with a gorgeous seafood bowl and a stroll through the garden that was worth seeing. The next day started with a breakfast buffet. I was very happy to see Yakult and hot coffee service at the entrance of the buffet hall. I am sure many people would like to have a cup of coffee first thing when they wake up in the morning. And the highlight of the breakfast here is the seafood buffet. Salmon and salmon roe marinated in soy sauce, red shrimp, and other gorgeous ingredients are lined up. It is hard to believe that this is all-you-can-eat. A very satisfying breakfast with delicious seafood bowls. Western food was also available, including multiple breads and pancakes. The seats in the area where the food was lined up were occupied at just past 7:00 am on a Sunday morning, but on the other hand, a room a little further away gave us a view of the waterfall, and it was a luxurious time to have breakfast while enjoying the spectacular view. If you go on weekends or holidays, you may want to eat a little earlier so that you can enjoy your breakfast more slowly. After finishing breakfast, I soaked in the hot spring once more to get ready for the day’s sightseeing. The previous day, we had arrived in the evening and had a party right after soaking in the hot spring, so we first strolled around the gorgeous garden of Tenjo-en. There were many carp and ducks, and since they sell food, you can feed them and play with them. There is also a shrine, so we climbed the stairs to pay our respects and see the cherry and plum blossoms in bloom. We were also able to see the waterfall that we could see from the bath up close and were healed by the negative ions. I could feel the gradual arrival of spring, and it felt like a great deal to have such a waterfall and mountain behind the hotel to explore together. There is also a tea shop and a footbath, so it would be nice to come here for a day trip.
