JR Group will begin selling the Seishun 18 Ticket and Seishun 18 Ticket Hokkaido Shinkansen Option Ticket for the spring season of 2026 on February 13.
Seishun 18 Ticket (Spring 2026)
Sales period: February 13, 2026 – April 10, 2026
Period of use: March 1 – April 10, 2026
Fare: (same price for adult/child)

Sales locations: Major JR stations, travel centers, and major travel agencies nationwide
The Seishun 18 Ticket is a product that allows unlimited rides on ordinary and rapid JR trains, BRT (Bus Rapid Transit), and JR West Miyajima Ferry throughout Japan.
From the winter of FY2024 onward, 3-day tickets are also available, and automatic ticket gates are now available on JR lines.
However, each ticket can only be used by one person for three or five consecutive days from the starting date specified at the time of purchase, and one ticket cannot be divided among multiple people, on non-consecutive days, or by two children.
When using the JR West Japan Miyajima Ferry, a separate Miyajima visitation tax (100 yen) is required on site.
