On January 30, Ikaros Shuppan released “Monthly Airline March 2026,” an A4-size, 144-page book priced at 2,035 yen.
The special feature is “Further into the realm of maturity! ANA 787 Fleet”.
ANA, the originator of the Boeing 787 airliner, has one of the world’s largest fleets of 787s, and its three types of fuselages and two engine variants support the vast and safe ANA routes from Tokyo to Itami in less than an hour, from the distant Mexico City route to the Itami route. ANA’s vast and safe routes are supported by three types of aircraft fuselages and two types of engines.
The year 2026 marks the 15th anniversary of the world’s first 787 flight. This report documents the crews and ground staff involved in operating the 787 on international and domestic flights, as well as the mechanics who faced the new aircraft as launch customers, along with the thoughts of those who support the 787’s operation.
A preservation appendix, “ANA Group Active Fleet List,” documenting color photos of all 287 aircraft, is also provided.
