Escon Sports & Entertainment has begun construction of the “F-Village Complex (tentative name)” (14-3, 4 F-Village, Kitahiroshima, Hokkaido) at the Hokkaido Ball Park F-Village in Kitahiroshima, Hokkaido, with plans to open in spring 2028.
The site is located between the ES CON FIELD HOKKAIDO ballpark in F Village and Hokkaido Ball Park Station (tentative name) on the JR Chitose Line, which is scheduled to open in 2028, about a two-minute walk from each facility. It will have 11 floors above ground for retail and office space and a 5-story (5-tier, 6-level) multi-story parking garage.
The complex will be connected to the pedestrian deck connecting the new station and the ballpark, making it easily accessible by train from Sapporo and New Chitose Airport, and with the planned relocation of Hokkaido Medical University in the same year, the number of visitors and residents to the F-Village area is expected to increase.
In the immediate area, the Banyan Group is developing the DHAWA hotel (scheduled to open in the fall of 2027) and a tower residence (scheduled to be completed in September 2028, with 508 units).
Escon Sports & Entertainment is a joint venture between Escon, Fighters Sports & Entertainment, and DeNA to be established in December 2023; the F Village complex will be the first phase of the development.
