Tobu Tower Sky Tree will change the admission method to the observation deck of Tokyo Sky Tree (1-1-2 Oshiage, Sumida-ku, Tokyo) from April 1.

Until now, tickets purchased via the Web were exchanged for a paper admission ticket at the ticket counter and the paper ticket was held up to the gate for admission, but from now on, visitors will be able to enter directly by holding up the issued 2D code (Web ticket) with a smartphone or other device.

In conjunction with this change, the entrance flow line on the 4th floor of Tokyo Sky Tree will be changed. The North Entrance will be open at all times from the same day, and visitors will be able to enter and exit from all entrances. In addition, the ticket counter located on the west side near the entrance gate will be relocated to the east side to facilitate smooth entrance and circulation around the facility.

A new feature was introduced in front of the “TEMBO SHUTTLE” (elevator to the observation deck) on the 4th floor of Tokyo Skytree, using seven projectors to randomly project four types of content (1 to 7 minutes) on the wall in crowded conditions, including the features of Tokyo Skytree, the view from the observation deck and animation of the official character “Sorakara-chan” to create a sense of excitement before entering the observation deck. The content will be randomly projected on the wall surface according to the situation of the crowds, creating a sense of excitement before entering the observation deck.

Tickets for admission from April 1 to May 31 will go on sale at 12:00 p.m. on March 2.
