Thermos releases “cold storage backpacks” that free up both hands. Compact 16L and large capacity 25L

Posted on February 17, 2026February 17, 2026 by Editor in Chief

Thermos will release the “Cold Storage Backpack (RFP-016/025)” on February 21. It comes in two sizes, 16L and 25L capacity, and in two colors, all black and dark gray.

As the need for cooling items increases due to the extremely hot summer, Thermos has developed a backpack type bag that is unlike conventional bags with a cooling function, in response to requests for a bag that is easy to use with both hands free, even when using a stroller or with children in tow. The 16L size, which is easy to use for daily use, uses Thermos’s unique three-layer “isotech” insulation structure, while the large-capacity 25L size uses Thermos’s unique five-layer “isotech 2” insulation structure.

The inside is made of a hygienic material that is easy to wipe clean and comes with a bottom plate to stabilize the luggage. The 16L size has a front pocket and the 25L size has side pockets.
