Ace’s “Trellis Z” suitcases incorporate trends such as a trunk shape, front opening, and extended capacity

ace launched “Trellis Z” from its bag and luggage brand “ace.” at its directly managed stores, online stores, major department stores and specialty stores nationwide.

Against the backdrop of the increased use of business hotels and private accommodations due to the recent rise in room rates, the new model incorporates front-opening specifications, trunk type, and expandable functions, which have become trends, as well as various other user-friendly features.

The front of the bag features a front-opening design that allows access to the main compartment. The carry-on size opens vertically for easy loading and unloading while standing up, while the checked bag opens horizontally for space-saving opening and closing.

The checked baggage size is a trunk-type with a wide gusset and vertical design. It has a single compartment structure that can efficiently accommodate bulky luggage, and despite its large capacity, it is easy to mount in a vehicle and does not take up much space when laid out on the floor because of its vertical length.

It is also equipped with an expandable function that allows the gusset width to be widened to expand the capacity. It can flexibly accommodate an increase in luggage on a trip, and since the capacity can be increased by approximately 10 liters, or about one night’s worth of luggage, it can be used for a wide range of nights.

In terms of carry-on size, the bag has more storage space by making the handles and other parts as compact as possible, and has a maximum capacity of 41L within the standards for carry-on baggage for international and domestic flights with 100 or more seats. The carry-on size can accommodate up to 4 nights.

In addition, quiet twin-wheel casters with low running noise and excellent swivel performance are used, and a caster stopper lever is provided on the back to prevent unexpected running on trains, etc. The checked baggage size is equipped with side hooks on the sides for hanging souvenir bags and other items. The hooks also serve as bottom feet and increase stability when the bag is placed horizontally.

The silhouette of the body shell is designed with less rounded corners to allow for secure storage in all corners. The ribbed lines (surface irregularities) on the body to increase strength were inspired by the shoji screens familiar to the Japanese.
