The Tokyo Metropolitan Government has released the “Tokyo Marathon 2026 Sightseeing Highlights Map” in preparation for the Tokyo Marathon 2026 to be held on March 1.
This special Web content lists more than 100 carefully selected sightseeing spots along the marathon course, from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building (the starting point) to the Tokyo Station area (the finish line). Cheerleaders along the course and tourists from Japan and abroad can enjoy walking around Tokyo in between the race.
For each area, such as Shinjuku/Shin-Okubo, Asakusa/Sumida, Marunouchi/Nihonbashi, etc., the map introduces support points and points of interest that are easy to stop by. The map can be easily used from a smartphone or tablet, and the map data can be downloaded and viewed offline.
