JR Group will start selling “Seishun 18 Ticket” and “Seishun 18 Ticket Hokkaido Shinkansen Option Ticket” for the winter season of 2025 today, November 28, 2012. The outline is as follows.
Seishun 18 Ticket (Winter 2025)

Duration of Use:
［For 3 days/5 days] December 12, 2025 – January 12, 2026
Fare: (same price for adult/child)
［For 3 days] 10,000 yen
［For 5 days] 12,050 yen
Sales locations: Major JR stations, travel centers, and major travel agencies nationwide
The Seishun 18 Ticket is a product that allows unlimited rides on ordinary and rapid JR trains, BRT (Bus Rapid Transit), and JR West Miyajima Ferry throughout Japan.
From the winter of 2024 onward, 3-day tickets are also available, as well as automatic ticket gates.
However, each ticket can only be used by one person for three or five consecutive days from the starting date specified at the time of purchase, and one ticket cannot be divided among multiple people, on non-consecutive days, or by two children.
