Toyoko Inn will open Toyoko Inn Kitakami Station West Exit (1-5-33 Aoyanagi-cho, Kitakami, Iwate) in Kitakami City, Iwate Prefecture, on March 2, 2026. Prior to this, the company began accepting reservations for lodging on its official website on December 2.
The facility is located a four-minute walk from the west exit of JR Kitakami Station, and is the second new store in the Kitakami Station area and the first in the Tohoku area in about six years. The site is equipped with a parking lot for 99 cars (first-come, first-served basis), which is free of charge for hotel guests, and is expected to be used not only by train but also by car for business and sightseeing.
There are 225 guest rooms in total. They feature the company’s latest specifications, including downlighting, headboards, and hanging cupboards. The hotel is equipped with “self lockers” that can be used free of charge before check-in and after check-out, and breakfast will be served buffet style as “Free Genki Breakfast.
