Rakuten Travel is offering “Rakuten Travel BLACK FRIDAY,” a special discount on travel reservations, until 9:59 pm on December 1, 2012. In addition to discounts of up to 20% off at participating hotels and hot spring resorts, coupons can be applied to Raku Pack (transportation + lodging), fun and experiences, car rentals, and more.
Oedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Ikaho (592-1 Ikaho, Ikaho-cho, Shibukawa-shi, Gunma), which opened this July with an upgrade from standard, is now offering a basic buffet plan with two meals per night. Prices start at 14,600 yen per person per room for double occupancy.
The hotel is within walking distance of Ishidan-gai, the symbol of the hot spring resort area, and offers two of Ikaho’s most famous hot springs, the iron-rich “golden hot spring” and the soft “silvery hot spring”.
In addition to a variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese menus, the menu includes local delicacies such as seared roasted Gunma pork, Gunma maitake mushroom tempura, Jyoshu gourmet pork sukiyaki, and “Okirikomi Udon” with its wide chewy noodles. Seasonal menus, desserts, and Haagen-Dazs ice cream will also be available for all-you-can-eat.
In addition, guests can freely enjoy drinks, including alcohol, at dinner and in the newly built premium lounge and hot spring lounge.
