Moomin Valley Park (327-6 Miyazawa, Hanno City, Saitama Prefecture), operated by Moomin Story, will open a new snow play area “Snow Play in Moomin Valley” on November 29, using an artificial snow-making machine to enjoy winter activities and snow scenery.

The event will feature winter activities based on the theme of the story in the comic “Yucky Winter,” and visitors will be able to touch the snow and experience snow play to their heart’s content.

In addition, “Mr. Hemelin,” a character from the picture book “Christmas in the Moomin Valley,” will make an appearance, and a meet and greet is scheduled to begin on November 29.

Moomin Valley Park is also hosting its first Christmas-themed event, “Christmas in the Moomin Valley,” and visitors can enjoy daily workshops, nighttime illumination, and character shows in December.
