The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a Loan Agreement (L/A) with the Government of the Republic of Paraguay for the “Integrated Socio-Economic Development Corridor in the Southwest” in Asunción, the capital of the Republic of Paraguay, on December 12. The signing took place between Mr. Carlos Fernandez Valdovinos, Minister of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Paraguay, and Ms. Chika Takahata, Director of JICA Paraguay Office.
In this project, technologies of Japanese companies may be adopted for roadbed improvement, road surface markings, and reinforcing materials for concrete pavement at toll gates.
