Shufu To Seikatsusha Co., Ltd. released a mook “Chiikawa Bead Embroidery Book with an Appendix Kit for Making Brooches. The price is 2,500 yen.

Includes 35 designs of Chiikawas and a full kit for making a Chiikawas face brooch (approx. 4 cm wide). Felt, beads, special needle and thread, embroidery thread, brooch pin, and all necessary materials are included.

The method of making the cake is explained with detailed process photos by Yuko Shimojima of MON PARURE. Basic techniques are also included so that even beginners can try it. The finished bead embroidery can be arranged into charms, key holders, appliques, patches, and other various works.
