One Five Hotels will open a lifestyle hotel, THE KNOT UTSUNOMIYA (3-2-3 Ekimae-dori, Utsunomiya, Tochigi Prefecture), on January 23, 2026.
The former Chisun Hotel Utsunomiya, located in front of the west exit of JR Utsunomiya Station, was completely renovated and is the fifth hotel under THE KNOT brand, following Yokohama, Shinjuku, Sapporo, and Hiroshima.
The hotel has 225 guest rooms. On the first floor of the hotel, an all-day restaurant, LAZULI PLACE, will open for a wide range of occasions from morning to evening, and a bakery and cafe, LAZULI BAKERY, will open to offer freshly baked bread, pastries, and donuts. The menu will make use of local ingredients.
In addition, they also envision implementing cultural programs such as art exhibits and music events that connect the local community with travelers.
Accommodation reservations will be accepted on the THE KNOT UTSUNOMIYA website from December 5.
