Tokai Railway Company (JR Tokai) will launch the “Let’s go to Kyoto!” Spring 2026 Campaign. The campaign will run from February 10 to April 30. This year’s theme is “Spring Flowers” and will offer sightseeing contents.
As part of the “Spring Special Visit Plan,” special visits will be held at a total of eight temples and shrines whose highlights include cherry blossoms, camellias, and plum blossoms (March 14 – April 12). In addition, Daigoji Temple, a World Heritage site, will collaborate with Naked to reconstruct “Hanami in Daigo” with digital art (March 27-April 12), and Toji Temple will hold “Toji Moon Corridor” lighting up bamboo lanterns (February 11-March 11).
The Jonan-gu Shrine, Myoshin-ji Temple Tatezoin Temple, and Reikanji Temple Monzeki Temple will offer a limited-design red seal visitation plan. In addition, sightseeing boats and trolley trains will be available for visitors to view the cherry blossoms in an elegant manner, and bamboo shoot digging, a form of Kyoto sustainatourism, will also be offered. The “Hana-no-Ma” (Flower Room) at Zuishin-in Temple, which has been popular every year, will also be held, and a limited number of gifts will be available for those who post on SNS and answer questionnaires.
Both plans are available through the “EX Travel Pack” and “EX Travel Destination Reservations” on the website.
