Tokyu Oimachi Line, Togoshi-Koen Station area to be elevated in 2035. Eliminate 6 unopened railroad crossings.

Posted on February 10, 2026 by Editor in Chief

The Bureau of Construction of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government (Bureaus of Construction, Tokyo Metropolitan Government) will conduct a series of multi-level crossing projects near Togoshi-koen Station on Tokyu Corporation’s Oimachi Line. The project was approved as an urban planning project on February 6.

Approximately 0.9 km of the area between Shimojinmei Station and Nakanobu Station, excluding the vicinity of both stations, will be elevated. A total of six railroad crossings that are so-called “unopened crossings” will be removed, and urban planning roads and side roads will also be constructed to improve the convenience of the area.

Togoshi-Koen Station is also planned to be elevated, with an island-type platform where trains in both directions face each other on a single platform.

The project is scheduled for completion in FY2035 at a cost of 42.7 billion yen.
