The server of J-MAC SOFT CORPORATION (hereinafter referred to as “J-MAC SOFT”), a subcontractor of NEC Nexa Solutions, Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the subcontractor”), to which the Organization has entrusted the development and management of a system for managing information on dispatched technical cooperation experts and survey teams (hereinafter referred to as “the dispatch system”), has recently been discovered to have been illegally accessed by a third party, (hereinafter referred to as the “Subcontractor”), which is a subcontractor of NEC Nexa Solutions, Ltd.
According to an investigation by the outsourcing company, at this point in time there is no record of any operation to take personal information stored on the server outside the company, and the company has reported that the possibility of leakage is extremely low. The outsourcing company has already taken measures such as restricting access from the outside after detecting unauthorized access.
The personal information stored on the said server is as follows. We have been in contact with the relevant persons to the best of our ability.

Short-term travel (less than 1 year: directly managed short-term experts/survey teams/emergency relief teams, etc.)
Directly managed long-term expert (1 year or more)
Overseas assignment staff, planning and research staff, health care staff
*JICA Overseas Cooperation Volunteers and those dispatched based on a contract between JICA and a corporation/organization are not eligible.
