Mitsui Fudosan and Mitsui Fudosan Hotel Management announced that Mitsui Garden Hotel Okayama, which is undergoing renovation work, will reopen on August 9.
Under the design concept of “Blooming,” the renovated hotel will feature designs inspired by the rich nature and scenic beauty of Okayama, the “Land of Sunshine,” throughout the hotel. The hotel will be reborn as a bright and relaxing space that embodies the “Stay in the Garden” brand tagline of Mitsui Garden Hotels.
There are 297 guest rooms in total. The configuration of the rooms has been reviewed, including the consolidation of two existing rooms into one, and the number of rooms that can accommodate up to three people, suitable for groups and families, has been significantly increased from the previous eight to 51. In addition, the interior design, furniture, and fixtures of all guest rooms have been renewed, and the water facilities have been completely renovated to improve functionality and cleanliness.
The design and layout of the large bathroom on the 10th floor, which is exclusively for guests, will also be renewed. In addition to adding a washing area, a new powder space will be installed in the women’s changing room. A new laundry room will be installed on the second floor. The second floor will be equipped with a laundry room, iron, trouser press, and other convenient facilities for long-term stays and business use.
