Nagoya Railroad announced that the Meitetsu Bus Center will continue to operate as is after April 1, 2026.
The Nagoya Station Area Redevelopment Plan calls for demolition to begin in 2026, and it was announced that the bus center would cease operations in March, but in December it was decided that the plan would be reviewed and revalidated. However, in December, the plan was reviewed and re-examined, and it was decided that the bus center would continue to operate as the schedule was all but undetermined.
After April, the ticket counter and bus stops will maintain their current functions. There will be no change in bus routes, but the timetables will be announced by the operators as soon as they are finalized.
