JR Kyushu will sell “Kyushu Great Adventure Ticket” from March 10 to April 17. The ticket period is from April 10 to 19, and is designed to coincide with the “Tsubame no Daiboken” (Great Adventure of Tsubame) exhibition at Hakata Station, where vehicles damaged in the Kumamoto earthquake will be on display.
The “Northern Kyushu Version” covers all lines north of the Hohi Main Line (Oita Station to Kumamoto Station) and between Kumamoto Station and Uto Station to Sankaku Station, and the “All Kyushu Version” covers all lines in JR Kyushu. Both versions offer unreserved seats on ordinary cars, including Shinkansen, limited express, and Hidahikosan Line BRT, and reserved seats and green cars are also available for a separate fee.
The Northern Kyushu version is priced at 10,000 yen (2,000 yen for children) and the All Kyushu version at 20,000 yen (3,000 yen for children). Purchases can be made through JR Kyushu’s online train reservation system until the day before boarding. The child version must be purchased at the same time and on the same itinerary as the adult version, and cannot be purchased and used independently.
