No. 1 of the year was the “Kyushu Kuroge Wagyu Beef Hamburger, 140g x 12 pieces” from Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture, which continued to dominate the weekly ranking. The ground beef hamburger is a combination of six parts of Kyushu black wagyu beef (loin, cutlet, belly, thigh, shank, and neck) and pork from Kyushu, and each 140g is individually packaged in a frozen package. No. 2 was “Salmon Roe American Chum 200g x 2” from Shiranukamachi, Hokkaido. Natural Alaskan salmon roe is washed in cooled salt water at temperatures below 10℃. By freezing and preserving the product with nitrogen filling, it has a shelf life of over a year. The donation amount is 16,000 yen.
Third place went to Ainan Town, Ehime Prefecture, for 2.5 kg of bonito tataki, delivered frozen and vacuum-packed (in small portions). The tender and fatty beef tongue is carefully selected and pre-seasoned, so it is ready to eat just by grilling it.
